RCOG Prostate Reunion 2008

We will hold our annual Prostate Reunion on May 1-4th, 2008. The Reunion kicks off on Thursday, May 1st with the First Annual RCOG Alumni Invitational! This golf outing will be played at Smoke Rise Country Club, and RCOG is happy to pick up the tab for the greens fees. You are welcome to bring your wife as well! The format will be a scramble, and we'll have a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. If you haven't signed up for this yet, you still have time - just email alparkerson@rcog.com or give her a call at (404)633-5606, ext. 112.

We will be having a BBQ with all the fixing on Friday, May 2nd from 11:30-1:30 p.m. in our Resource Center (next to our main building in Decatur). Dress casually.

On Friday evening, Bill and Margaret Frisbee will host a dinner at Rehobath Baptist Church - Fellowship Hall (1.5 miles from the Decatur clinic). The theme will be "The 50's". Dress accordingly and come prepared to have fun and good fellowship! This event will be from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m.

On Saturday, the 3rd, Dr. Critz will host an informal lecture/question and answer session in our Resource Center from 11:30-1:00 p.m. Lunch will be good, southern food so come hungry.

The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge will hold an Open House from 1:30-3:30 p.m.on Saturday, if you want to go by and say hello and see the lodge. We are in the process of helping the lodge raise funds to build 13 additional rooms so consider a donation to a very worthy cause.

Saturday evening, from 6:00-10:00 p.m. we will host a Gala Banquet at the Smoke Rise Country Club in Stone Mountain, Georgia. We will begin the evening with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Maps to the club will be provided at all of the reunion events. It is located approximately 8.5 miles from the Decatur Clinic. Be aware, the club has a dress code. This event will be considered Casual business attire. The only expense you will be responsible for is the banquet. All other activities will be at no charge. Please indicate below, which activities you will be attending. It is very important that we have an accurate headcount for the events to have adequate food for everyone.

And don't forget - we will be holding a silent auction at the Gala with the proceeds going to benefit the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Expansion Campaign. Items include Dinner with Dr. Frank, Lunch with Legendary UGA Football Coach Vince Dooley, Braves tickets, Vince Dooley autographed UGA memorabilia, Braves tickets, and more!

The Hampton Inn/Stone Mountain is offering a discounted rate for RCOG Reunion attendees ($72.00 per night plus tax). Be sure and mention the event when making your reservations.

Sunday, the 4th, Bobby and Eleanor Barnett will host a Prayer Breakfast at their home from 8:30 to 10 a.m. This event will conclude our reunion weekend.
